SO were military and this morning I had to drop off DH to go out to sea again. It sucks to know that he will miss the rest of the pregnancy, and it worries me a little. Then of course, as I am dropping him off this morning, I get pulled over because they are working on stupid terrorist drills and even though one guy said go, the cop decided to pull me over and yell at me to say no. No remorse for the pregnant driver bawling her eyes out because she is saying good bye. Sorry for the mini rant, I am definitely hormonal today

tons of hugs.
I cannot say I know how you feel. my dad used to travel alot for work and I hated telling him goodbye. I would cry like crazy!!
Saying goodbye sucks. I know this time around its going to be harder for me with a baby at home. That cop is an as$hole.
My husband is a Merchant Marine and he left for Singapore this morning too.... so please know you are not alone... I cried my eyes out this morning and now im sitting at work in a fog.... As soon as he leaves I just start counting the days till he comes home...
Keep yourself busy... make a lot of plans and know he will be home soon! Hang in there and if you need to talk - there are tons of wifeys that relate
Have a good weekend!
I am so sorry he had to leave this late in your pregnancy. How long is he going to be gone? My husband travels for work sometimes, but he's only usually gone for a week or two. You ladies are so strong for being able to spend months away from your husbands!
Maggiedm has good advice. Try to make plans and keep busy. Unfortunately, last time my husband was gone, my friends kept canceling their plans with me to go clubbing and didnt invite me because I was pregnant. Our house was organized and spotless when he got home.
My husband is air force and he has missed most of this pregnancy too. He's in South Korea. Hang in there, you can do it!
And throat punch that cop.
