is a place for any of you who are experiencing the world of
azoospermia. Whether you were recently diagnosed and are trying to make
sense of it all, or you have started preparing for IVF or IUI, or have
decided instead to move on to adoption. Please join in the group by
posting! Check in is on Thursdays.
Learning
that the chances of having a biological child with your husband are
slim to none is not easy, and is, frankly, devastating news. This check
in is a place where we can share how we are coping (or not) with our
new realities, provide information we've learned through investigating
our options, adjusting our lifelong dreams and plans, and dealing with
the situation.
I'd
like to extend an invitation to those who have been fortunate enough to
experience pregnancy, childbirth, and/or adoption. Ultimately, all of
us desire to create a family. The experiences and insight of those who
have reached that goal will be quite helpful to those of us on that
road.

What is the next home improvement project you plan to do?
We rent so we can't do home improvement projects persay, but as soon as spring arrives we need to do some serious work on the backyard. I mean a lot of work it's a mess!

hey there!!! I have a few more tests to be done this coming Monday- They said the cmv one and a few more- I guess I will find out when I get there. After that, we will go ahead and purchase the DS, and get the is d-iui going!!! I felt like I had enough blood taken the first few times we went!! LOL
next home improvement project... finish staining our fence outside... we started last summer, and ran out of stain... looks tacky- but atleast it was clear stain... That stain is like 150.00 a can and we need like 3 more!!! UGH!

So I don't post on the infertility board often at all, so I haven't posted about this yet, but we got our first BFP this morning!!!
After six years of trying and testing and trying to fix things we are finally pregnant!!! It's so surreal as I have been dreaming of this day for so long!
Congrats to any recent BFP's and T&P to all those testing, in the 2WW and everything else this week!!
Next Home Improvement Project: Our Kitchen. We have redone every room in our house except for our kitchen, so that is next! Now to find the money for it!! haha

3 unmedicated IUI's, 1 with Clomid - all unsuccessful. Moving on to DIVF #1-BFP 5dp5dt!!! 1st Beta 1/23- 269!! Beta #2 1/26 - 882!!! Beta #3 1/30- 4,250!!! 1st ultrasound 2/10 showed TWINS!!! Found out on May 2nd we are having BOYS!

Thundercats - that is fantastic news! I know you've waited a long time to get started with IUI's, I'm glad it happened so quick! I hope we're that lucky with our IVF
I start lupron tomorrow but will be on it an extra week before I start stims due to some scheduling issues. I still remember how tired and foggy it made me...and the night sweats. YUCK!
QOTW: I'm not sure what will be next. We got water in our basement in 2008 and still need to put the baseboards back up. We also need to fix some of the hardwood floor under our refrigerator (it got water damage about 3 years ago). I need to paint the front door to match our new shutters and I'd like to paint our living room and bedroom.
I am a lazy piece of crap so who knows when it will happen

Hi ladies,
Well, we got our BFP this week!!! I truly can't believe it worked the first IUI this time! I have a cyst that's bothersome so they're monitoring me via u/s. Couldn't obviously see anything today, but go again next Thursday. Hopefully we'll see a sac and fetal pole. Congrats to the other BFP's and good luck to all the 2ww's!
QOTW: We need to look for another house with more room! Huge project and I have no idea when we'll be able to start that!

QOTW: We also rent so there's not many home improvements we can do! I would love to decorate more! I'm so bad at that kind of stuff!!! I hung a total of 3 picture frames throughout the house!!! I always dreamed of having a fully decorated house but wouldn't have a clue where to start!

Um, yesterday was day 1, so I emailed the RE's office, but have not heard back. So unless they mailed my scripts last night, we're on to break cycle 4.
Honestly, I'm not 100% heartbroken about this. One more cycle means I have hope for that much longer before it's all over. And another month to try to lose some more weight and get in better shape. I just hope they email soon so I know what we're doing.
We rent, so there's not really anything we can do. Though I do need to do a thorough cleaning.

I need to vent/be assured. Our Uro moved 2 1/2 hours away. No one in town can do mTESE, so it looks like I'm changing clinics and we will be traveling for IVF. It really sucks, and I need to be reassured it will all work out. We are also having issues with his new office treating DH like a new patient, so we had his records sent. Hopefully, they get their act together soon. I just feel like we are starting over and we had everything ready to go here! Did anyone have to travel this far for IVF?
QOTW: We need to repaint. The builder used cheap flat paint and it scratches/marks easy.
Update: I am 14dpo today. I thought about testing, but I've decided to test on Sunday. I'm too afriad to see a BFN-so we'll wait her out. I am pretty standard, so either AF will come or she won't! If she comes, we'll move on to IVF mid April hopefully!
Congrats to all the BFP's-it gives me such hope!
QOTW: We had a leak in the family room-so that needs to be fixed. And because it's an open floor plan, we;ll probably do the whole kitchen/dining room/family room at once!

Update: I went to my RE the other day, and he saw 3 sacs, one with a very strong heartbeat and the other 2 no heartbeat yet, but he said it's still early. Hopefully we'll see more next week,
QOTW: I'm thinking about putting new wood floors in my living room and new tile in my kitchen. Also, probably getting new furniture for the living room.

It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.
