day care any suggestions?

Hi there ladies! :)

i'm 7 months pregnant and after a long discussion of finances, daycare, etc etc....daycare ended up being our answer our LO. i'm trying to jump on the train now.

we've already toured 3...we have our interest on one already. i wanted to see if you ladies had any suggestions on anyone in the Renton area?? :)

    We take our daughter to an in-home center in Newcastle.  Not sure if that is too far North for you, but we've been very happy with them and I believe they have openings right now.  Let me know if you're interested and I can PM you the phone number.

    Gabe and Audrey go to a great center in Renton, in the Benson neighborhood.   Not a big chain (a la kindercare), consistent, great teachers... 1 class per age group and my kids LOVE it...several friends have their kids there as well including principals and teachers of area elementary schools.

    has anybody heard or know of anyone else that has taken their LO to a Kindercare? We're thinking about a specific one. i can't find any reviews online for this Kindercare. THanks!

    Personally, I've never heard anyone rave about a Kindercare. I have a couple friends that have worked at Kindercare's and would never send their own children to one. With that said, I believe they vary in quality significantly by location. I wouldn't rule out a center just based on their name/ownership, but I would definitely be comparing them to other options and visiting to get a first hand feel for the place & people.
