Anyone know where I can buy long tank tops to wear with leggings? I
don't want to buy maternity... Just normal tank tops. I can't seem to
find the ones that are made long to wear with leggings. Maybe they're
not out yet... But I've bought some cute leggings and I can't seem to
find the dang tank tops!
Any advice would be appreciated.
TIA
Re: Long Tank Tops?
Thanks!
Wet Seal. (www.wetseal.com) I kid you not. Quality isn't all that bad... I think they're super-comfy! And they often have deals were it's like, 5 for $20. You can buy online. I'm petite normally, (and also short waisted) although big-chested... and fit into smalls and/or mediums, normally. I can still wear my mediums, because they stretch, and they aren't too short. I can wear them with leggings and still be all covered up. But I may have to buy a few Larges soon, if I keep getting bigger. They're super comfy... and they have regular tanks, camis, and even the lace trimmed cami's. I've been buying these from WS for YEARS. They never fail me.
I don't know if you're taller/longer-waisted than me, though. But I say try it. I wore them all through my pregnancy w/ DS. Life savers, is what they were for me! (And since they're non-maternity... I can wear them after pregnancy, too!)
What do I look for on their site? Are they called anything in paticular other than tank tops? I'm afraid to buy on line because I don't know how long they are.
Thanks for the advice.
Here's tanks and cami's directly: https://www.wetseal.com/catalog/thumbnail.jsp?categoryId=101&subCategoryId=117
Here is a pic of me in one of them @ 16 weeks... it goes well past my butt! I'm a bit bigger now ,and they STILL cover my butt!
Thank you!!!!!
To add more emphasis... this is the one I usually get, because they always have a bunch of colors... https://www.wetseal.com/catalog/product.jsp?categoryId=101&subCategoryId=1177&productId=43077
The straps are also adjustable. I'm busty, pre-preg... but right now I can have it at a decent height on my chest (so I'm not showing off the girls all that much), and they hit me mid thigh, nearly. I'm 5' 2". (Don't know if that helps any more?) I'd get out a measuring tape and one of my tanks to tell you how long they are with the adjustable straps all the way to the lowest... but I don't have one easily accessible to me right now. =(

This sounds exactly like the one I got, in the link I posted it looks short, but the top actually goes down past my hips.
