are the Aden & Anais swadding blankets worth the $?

I am thinking about getting some but don't want to spend the money if it's not worth it.  DD will break out of the swaddle if we use regular receiving blankets.  We have the sleepsack with swaddle, Miracle Blanket, and SwaddleMes, but I'm not crazy about any of them because it seems like they are hard to fit over warm fleece PJ's.  I've heard good things about the Aden & Anais blankets and the reviews on amazon are all good, but it seems like a lot of money to spend on such a thin blanket. 

Thoughts?

    I LOOOOVE mine.  DS is huge and they still contain him.

    Worth it.

    I'd bet they'd hold my 16 month old, that's how big and stretchy they are.

    I LOVE them!! Worth every penny (and we are on a tight budget).  Just use a 20% off coupon or something to try to save a little bit.

    DS2 breaks out of them still, but I love them for daytime. At night I use a fleece SwaddleMe over a long sleeve onesie instead.

    They are nice and large but I find that because they are stretchy my Lo is able to break out of them.  It is nice that they are so lightweight so my LO doesn't get overheated.

    We don't swaddle much, but we live in Florida and these are pretty much the only blankets we can use without overheating DS. They're so light and thin, they're great for a light cover when we put DS in his stroller. They're also much bigger than any of the other blankets we received so they definitely make swaddling easier.

    Yes!! We don't swaddle anymore, quit that at about 4 weeks old, but I still use them all the time for various things.  They are fabulous for throwing over the carseat carrier in the store to keep the germs away because they are so lightweight.  They also make great nursing covers and burp cloths.  They were awesome for swaddling too of course when we used them for that purpose.

    Yes! We got ours from Buy Buy Baby and used a 20% off coupon. Cheaper than Target or Amazon! We actually prefer the swaddle with these to the swaddleme blankets.
