Need car seat rec

Anyone own a Mustang (MH just bought a '98) and find an infant seat that fit well (or fit at all)? I would appreciate any help. We have an evenflo embrace and it does not fit, it also cannot be installed without the base.

Re: Need car seat rec

  • The Combi Coccoro is supposed to be great for small cars (I have a minivan so I don't have personal experience).  There is a woman on the 12-24 board who is a car seat expert and I've seen her recommend this seat.  It's a convertible seat, so there is no base, but if you don't mind a seat that is installed all the time it might work for you.  GL!

  • Did you check carseatdata.org - I think that is the site that gives information about which seats fit in which cars...
  • I just looked on there for you.... carseatdata.org recommends the graco snugride....

I did check the site, but there was very little info. Only about 4-5 seats listed. I was hoping to get some info from people who have actually used a seat in the car to see if I could expand my options.

I also dont mind a convertible seat. In fact, MH will have to deal with it being permanent, and since I did warn him when he was looking for a car that he should keep car seats in mind...hes just going to have to deal.
