If so, do you know about any interactions between taking Fenugreek? I don't want to affect my levels (and end up hurting my supply) by trying to boost it.
I am on Synthroid. I tried Fenugreek alone and it didn't hurt my supply, but it didn't help much either. I do take the More Milk Plus, which has Fenugreek in it, and have seen a little increase with it.?
I was a little worried too after reading that it can lower thyroid levels in mice, but I tried it anyway?
I drank mother's milk tea (with fenugreek) and that did not affect my levels - but I only took it for about 4 days and saw immediate effect. When I tried to take straight fenugreek pills, it upset my stomach and DD got a diaper rash too.
I did not notice it affecting my levels. Although, ?I know the book "Making More Milk" says it may not be the best herb for women with thyroid problems. I think you could always try it and stop if you think it is affecting you negatively.?
