  I read something similar.  But I think mine was out of a make your own baby food book.   I believe it was referring to low nutritional value and listed some other foods to eat instead.  If I can find the book I can PM  you the info if you like.

  Lots of mamas on here skip rice cereal altogether. If we do rice cereal, I will home-make my own with brown rice. Anna Duggar has instructions on their website, I believe.
