Kind of freaking out

So, I just took my last bc pill on Saturday and of course, now this week is "the week" but next month we will start TTC and I am freaking out about it! I keep thinking how difficult it will be to get 2 ready in the morning instead of just one and I am stressing myself out. DH is super excited about adding another one and I am excited too, but I am still freaking out! Talk me down please!! LOL..

I can't help ya because I am jealous!! LOL My H is nowhere near ready for #2 and I've got the fever bad!!

I know 2 will be so much harder but I still want it. I'd even be happy if H were to say okay, I'll be ready to try in 2 years, 3 years... whatever etc. Then I would have something to look forward to.

Until he is ready all I can do is daydream and live vicariously through others. So GL TTC!! :-).

Just remember how much easier it was to get a newborn ready versus a toddler. All you have to do is feed them & then they just lay there! LOL! No doing their hair, chasing them down to put their socks on for 100th time!

Plus you will have little miss Leighton as a helper! You will do great & I'm a tiny bit jealous!! : )

Just about every mom I talk to says that going from 1 to 2 kids isn't really a big deal and doesn't feel like a ton more work. However, they say that the move from 2 to 3 kids is rough.

I can't speak from experience though but having a baby is so exciting and good luck to you on TTC.

HA HA Misty, you sound like DH...he said, just think how much Leighton will help...I am not seeing that!! ha

I am really worried about the second child being a terror! lol. Leighton has been great, great sleeper, great eater, always happy, etc. I just feel like I am doomed with no chance for the second one. Is it possible to have two great babies??? LOL

of course it's possible. There is a lady I go to church with & all 3 of their children are so well mannered & all around great kids! Like little dream kids! I aspire to be her! LOL

You will be just fine. You have done the newborn thing. That will be second nature. I am sure it was tough some days but I really can't think of a time when it was terrible. NBs sleep a lot at first and you can get used to having both kids around. If they are in their jammies a lot, that's just fine. You just figure it out. I am TTC #3 in April and I am definitely a little nervous. It's good to know that both of the older kids will be in school a bit and that will help.

We start trying for #2 in June and I'm already thinking the same freaked out thoughts as you. How the heck am I going to manage two LOs???

This is me totally! I think all life changes are scary, but we managed the transition to married life, and from no kids to one kid, so I know we will all do just fine going from 1 kid to 2. GL TTC!
