im not sure if my hormonal changes are effecting my mood today or just recently of what! ,,, but at 8 months, my milk has suddenly reduced alot & i could cry every day... im going to see my DR & I was NOT expecting this at all...
I am in the same boat... I feel like I can barely keep up with Mathieu. The other day he was real sick and barely ate all day and I thought I was going to be super uncomfortable but I wasn't at all...
I have also been real emotional and feel like crying at the slightest stupid things. I don't know what is going on. My mom said it is probably just stress and my hormones finally really straightening out.

I am 7 months PP and I just met with my doctor. She said that since I stopped BFing in December it could easily be hormonal changes but if it has been this long, it might be post parteum emotional issues. She gave lots of advice, medication if desired and a referral to a great post parteum counselor.
I think BF keeps you hormonal to a point. I also feel like after 7 - 8 months with no reall "me", things just start adding up. For me, things got alot better better A) when LO started STTN in early Jan and DH started picking LO up from daycare. At first, I did not like B, but it really helps me out alot and works better for us.
I had a traumatic birth experience followed by a screaming baby for the first 12 weeks (MSPI). I was just diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome. I was exposed to a stressful situation and my emotions were never fully resolved. When DS cries now, it triggers feelings from the first three months. I didn't realize it, but now that I have been diagnosed it makes so much sense. I just continued living my life b/c it was all I could do--but the consequences were pent up stress and emotional turmoil. I am seeing a PSY now and doing much better. Just thought I would throw that out there if something similar is going on with you.

I was diag with PPD at 7 months, given meds. My doc also tested my thyroid because thyroid issues can start with women at 6 months PP. Check that too. I'll say though, for me, the ness made me feel worse physically so I stopped taking them and DH and I are now just causious of my 'triggers' and he's soo good about talking to me and keeping me in check. We'll see how it goes.

Yes, me. Over the past couple of months, I've been having trouble coping. I've added some herbal supplements to my diet to see if it helps and if it doesn't, I'll go see someone.
Re: anyone have late post partum?
