How do you organize/store LO's small toys?

DD has a lot of little toys like Mickey Mouse plastic figurines, play phones, etc. I feel like they are always lying around, but I don't want to throw them in the big toy box and have them fall to the bottom and then she can't find them easily. Anyway, how do you organize and/or store things like this?? Thank you for any advice and suggestions!!

I have smaller boxes/bins for things like that. Then I toss the smaller bins in the big bin so it's not TOO much more work, really. I also make her pick up the toys in the smaller containers before she moves onto playing with something else. That may just be my OCD, though, lol.

I bought some decorative bins from marshalls in 4 different sizes. The big bin has his cars and trucks, one has puzzles, one has block and another has the small toys.

I bought a bunch of small (14qt?) Sterilite containers with latching lids. One has Duplos, one has cars, etc. I made sure DS could open them himself before I bought them so that we would have any meltdowns over how long it takes him to get to his toys.
