Anyone else just tired?

I don't know what it is, but the last week I've gotten up at least 2-3 times a night to pee (I didn't think I was drinking that much) and though I've slept like a rock in between the pee-bouts, I can't seem to wake up at work. I spend the first hour or two just staring at my computer thinking "is it okay for me to get some caffeine?" I'm exhausted.

Plus, last night we went to Target and when we got home I told DH it was too much for me. I may just be becoming lazy, but to be up and down at work all day (walking from garage to the office; and to meetings,etc.) and then to walk around Target for an hour just wore me out.

  • Yes!  I don't sleep too well though so I'm assuming that has something to do with it!  But I agree if I do too much on the weekends (like run two errands) I need a nap!

  • Always feel tired. I know that I need to start exercising again to help this, but I need to find the energy to get up  before DH heads to work and DS wakes up. Taking care of a toddler all day and keeping house is hard work!

  • Yes! Where is taht 2nd tri energy burst? I mean i have more energy than 1st tri but i still pass out on the coouch at 7:30 trying to catch up on DVRed TV

    I walk in the door at 5 or 5:30, when I get home from work, and just want to sit with my feet up for the next 3-4 hours until I head upstairs to bed at 9. I didn't think this would set in in the middle of pregnancy, I figured it'd be more towards the last two months.

  • Me!  I thought we were suppose to have more energy in the 2nd Tri!  For me I think it more then just fatigue from bad sleep.  I feel tired all the way down to my bones.

  • Me too.  I just can't seem to keep my eyes open sometimes.  I fall asleep at 8 on the couch.  I wake up so many times from weird dreams or my arm falling asleep.  Having a cold doesn't help either.  I feel like all I do is work and sleep.

  • Yes - I find that even though my energy has returned a bit since the first tri, I just get worn out quickly.

    I took the dog for a walk and brought in garbage cans last night and felt like I worked out for 2 hours lol. Add in those midnight bathroom trips and I feel so tired most days.

  • I had some good energy a few weeks ago, but it way gone, and haivng a cold does not help.  I think once the weather stays warm and the sun is out all the time that will help, I think weather has a big factor in motivation too.  I try to go to the gym and I make it for 20 min on the treadmill and then I am so done, and I use to run for 30 min and do a crazy weight workout...

  • I am not going through this right now. I actually have a lot of energy. I hope it lasts!

    I shaved my legs this morning. that's starting to become a once a week deal. My dog comes in the bathroom in the morning and starts to lick the lotion off of my legs. I Have to tell her now "Stop it! It takes too much effort to put lotion down by my ankles!!!" It's the one time I'm not loving having longer legs!

  • I'm tired all the time!  I sleep terribly - tossing from right side to left side and my arm falls asleep and wakes me up.  Often times, when my sleep is deep enough, I have strange dreams.  I keep seeing those commercials for 5 hour energy too which makes me think of how much more productive i could be!  I'd NEVER take that while PG. Still waiting for the 2nd tri energy boost!

  • Me too.  I took a 15 min break yesterday at work and fell asleep...I have been getting up 2-3 times a night too, feel like I'm resting well but just can't seem to stay awake.  By 4:00pm I am about ready for bed!

    I think it's my drive to and from work. At a minimum it's 35mins, but most days it ranges from 45-60minutes depending on traffic (and what time I leave work). I'm happy that I have the ability to WFH two days a week, but man... the drive is killing me. Then DH and I will go out for dinner. He'll have a beer or two with dinner and I'm stuck driving again.
