Under $2 a pound for fresh chicken breast. Sounds great, but they are alreay sold out for this time around. I'll be prepared for next time, but want to see if anyone else has done this before?
I have a friend who bought last time and liked them. She said she had to trim about 5lbs of fat off the chicken total and that took a bit of time but otherwise she was happy with them. I plan to do it next time they're here.
The chicken comes pretty fatty, so you have to trim the fat and prepare the breasts yourself... I hate raw chicken, so I will gladly pay $.50 more per lb to have someone else do that for me
I bought some for the first time last fall, and it was pretty good. I split it with a few girlfriends. There wasn't much fat on our batch, so I felt like it was a great deal.
