Baptism--what is DD wearing? (not Catholic)

We are Presbyterian.  I know Catholic Baptisms usually require the LO to wear white.  With DD#1, she wore a navy and white dress.  I'm trying to look for something for DD#2 to wear, but I don't know where to start.  I'd love some ideas.  What will/did you DD wear for a baptism (specifically if it was not a Catholic Mass).

 Thanks! :)

  • Can't she wear the same navy & white dress?  I am Catholic and my sons wore the same gown.  I think it is nice to have them in the same thing, you can turn it into an heirloom.

  • We are Methodist and DD will wear a white gown.  If we had same-sex children, they would wear the same outfit, like PP suggested.

This is the one we are thinking so far:

  • We are Lutheran and DD wore my baptism dress.  If we would have had a son, he would have worn my DH's outfit.  My dress was white with a little lace with a matching bonnet that she wore to church, but we obvisously took off for the baptism.

  • I have a boy, but my son will wear the same traditional white christening gown that I wore. I consider them to be gender neutral.
