how much does LO weigh so far??

my U/S tech told me LO is at 4.1lbs....scares the crap out of me!!

apparently baby grows 1lb a week at 36 weeks on...i really hope not because if that's the case this will be one biiiig baby........yikes!!

do you know how much your LO weights yet??

At my 32 week appt and u/s I was told LO was 4lbs 6oz. That was a week ago today. So Im nervous of the same. I have heard they can easily be off by a pound even 2.

I was told today that LO has big feet and long legs...and weighs 5lbs 10oz!!

At my 28 week u/s she weighed in at 3 lbs, 10 oz which is 91 percentile. My DS was 9 lb, 8 oz and I'm guessing she's going to be a big baby too.

U/S weight estimates are notoriously way off, up to a couple pounds or more either way for a full term baby. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

At 30 weeks, she was 3 lbs. 4 oz. But they told me those u/s measurements aren't super exact.

I am so worried about have a huge baby..like over 10lbs. I wish I knew how much the baby weighs. I am having an ultrasound in two weeks and I hope they can give me some type of number. I'm glad to see some higher numbers on this post though so I won't flip out when I hear mine. I have heard the same that the ultrasounds are usually way off.

At 32 weeks our estimate was 4 pounds 7 oz. That was two weeks ago

A girl I know was told her baby would probably weigh over 8 pounds at birth. The baby weighed about 6.5. I wouldn't worry too much about it. Maybe they round up so that you'll somehow feel reassured that your baby is nice and healthy.

At my 33 week growth ultrasound they estimated that he was 4 lbs, 14 oz; however, my MW said that it could be off a pound either direction.

Ultrasounds can be off, but in either direction. 3 days before I was induced I had a u/s and they said baby was 8 to 9 lbs. He was 9lbs8oz! I am having a u/s next week and am worried about that they will say because I am worried this LO will hit the 10 lb mark at birth.

I have an u/s next week so hopefully they can give me a guesstimate. I don't trust them that much though - my friend was told her baby was over 8 lbs and he only weighed 6 lbs 1 oz when he was born.

He was estimated at 4 lbs 12 oz at my 32 week ultrasound. The tech said he was in the 65% percentile. I heard they can gain a half pound a week - which puts him around 8.5 lbs at birth. If it's a pound after 36 weeks, holy crap! He could be 9.75 lbs. YIKES!

3lbs 6oz at my 30wk u/s. 51%.

My u/s was right on with DD in regards to weight. I was induced 2 days after my u/s and she was only 2oz heavier than they estimated.

At my growth scan a week ago, Owen was weighing in at 4 lbs 3 oz and Amelia was weighing in at 4 lbs 6 oz.

With my son we had a final weight check at 36w2d and they estimated him to weigh 5 lbs 13 oz. He was born at 39w1d weighing 6 lbs 11 oz so he didn't even gain a full pound in the three weeks from the u/s estimate. And I always heard that they gained half a pound to a pound per week in the last month, so you aren't guaranteed to have a biiiig baby.
