Parenting after 35

Errr, should I be worried?

Margaux has been napping since 11:30.  It's now 3:36.  I just checked on her, she's breathing, but still OUT.  I know she has been sick and still is, but isn't this a bit long?

Re: Errr, should I be worried?

  • Mikey did that on Saturday. He'd sleep for 3-4 hour stretches then wake up hysterical. Wed change him, give him some water then he'd conk out again.

I would say don't worry, but Saturday freaked me the hell out. We would have gone to the ER if DH hadn't talk me out of it.

So as it is I'd let her sleep and make sure she drinks a ton when she wakes up.

  • She's up!  Her mood's good, her temperature's down!  I guess she really needed the nap!

    Yes
  • Adrian does that once in a while when he's been sick or is extra tired from the day before, or he's had a very active morning. Sometimes they need to sleep a bit more. Don't worry, I think it's totally normal :)
