AW and a HELP!

We booked a Spring Break flight to Washington DC to visit my cousin and her toddler for four days in April. I am sooooo excited about Cam's first "big" trip but now reality is sinking in and I am in a panic about the flight. Luckily, it is a direct flight and should only last around 1 1/2 hours. I am mainly concerned that Cam will freak out during take-off since the engines will be loud and high pitched. What do I do to keep him from being traumatized / traumatizing the entire plane? Do I try ear plugs? Suggestions??? TIA!

Re: AW and a HELP!

  • It honestly isn't loud... the engines tend to be soothing white noise to most kids I've seen fly.  Seems like your LO is old enough to distract him... look out the window, read a book, talk about the plane.. the emergency procedures card is always entertaining!  And don't forget water and LOTS of snacks :)
