Side effects with Zoloft

Did anyone have dizziness with Zoloft?  I was prescribed it when DD#2 was 8 wks old but only took 2 days of it because it was making me very out of it.  I was wondering if anyone else had these sx and if they tried any other meds that did better.  I have to bf (DD#2 has feeding issues) so I have to go on nursing safe meds and apparently that limits them a lot.  I got my original RX from the OB but they acted like I was being silly (even though I had ppa/ppd with my last child) so I'm looking for a psychiatrist now since my sx haven't improved.  TIA for any info.

    I believe the first day or two, I did feel slight dizziness. And if I forget to take it, I also feel dizzy.

    I didn't, however, my OB warned me that for the first week or even two I could have some side effects.  Especially nausea and dizziness.  IMO, I would keep taking it b/c the side effects will get better!  GL finding a psych!

    thanks guys.  I actually called the OB back and explained that I was still having sx and wanted to try the zoloft again and they gave me the all clear.  I'm going to take it at night and hope this helps with the side effects since the advice nurse said it should.  thanks again.
