Pyrex wins every time.
Charlie's gotten into the cabinets and starts playing with the pots and pans, as usual. But today, he aims for the pyrex stuff. Shattered a pie plate and a bread pan before I could even bat an eye.
Fortunately, he didn't get anything on him since he was throwing it out of the cabinet and away from him. (Gleefully!) But I've been carefully scouring the kitchen for shards all day.
PSA--put up the glass stuff! That stuff is NOT indestrucable!
Re: PSA--Babies vs. Pyrex
Good PSA! And I'll add ceramic dog bowls to the mix.
Aaron broke both of Casey's. He was "helping" me by picking it up and handing it to me. But the bowl was too heavy and BAM! Thankfully neither toddler nor dog (nor mama, for that matter) was hurt by the ceramic shards.
I need to buy new dog bowls now as we're currently using DH's late dog's bowls (he saved them after she died 2 years ago) and DH doesn't want Aaron to break them too--also ceramic.

Yikes, good PSA. Margaux is all over the lower cabinets, and I have a couple of pyrex pans in there.
