What size for summer?

I am going to a consignment sale today (prob my favorite thing to do!), and am thinking about what size to get for DD2. I am thinking 6-12 months. We use cloth diapers, so that makes bottoms need to be a bit bigger than you would think. But I suppose I am mostly shopping for rompers and so forth.

Anyhow, 6-12 months make sense?

Too bad she and DD1 are totally opposite seasons, cause that means I don't have a ton of stuff to reuse!

Re: What size for summer?

  • I would say anywhere between 3-6 and 6-12. Some 3-6 clothes are HUGE for certain brands and rival some of my smaller 6-12 clothes.

I love consignment sales too! I love finding top brands with their store tags still on them.

  • we have the same problem, as DS1 was born in september.  I would go with some of each.  you will probably need the 3-6 in the early summer and then the 6-12 later on, in say, july/aug/sept.  good thing about summer clothes is that you can always layer on top/underneath.  have fun!

  • I ended up getting 3-6 month, then I realize that DD1s 6-12 month stuff is summer, so if she grows enough, then we will use that at the end of summer.
