Ava has learned the "Orange you glad I didn't say banana?" and the "Boo hoo... you don't have to cry!" knock knock jokes, and now she spends the entire day telling her own made up knock knock jokes such as 'Knock knock'... 'Who's there?'... 'Pink!'... 'Pink who?'... 'Pink TOES!' Then we all have a big fake laugh and it goes on and on (it doesn't lose its charm at all, lol). Anyhow, this one really cracks me up because it's funny in a "Where did you learn that?" sorta way:
Ava: Knock knock
Me: Who's there?
Ava: The infant.
Me: The infant who?
Ava: The infant Lila. Knock Knock.
Me: Who's there?
Ava: The toddler.
Me: The toddler who?
Ava: The toddler Charlotte. Knock knock.
Me: Who's there?
Ava: The pweeschoola (preschooler).
Me: The preschooler who?
Ava: The pweeschoola Ava.
It's true. I have an infant, a toddler and a preschooler. It dawned on me only after Ava's insightful knock knock joke. Crazy!
Re: Gotta love when they learn to tell knock knock jokes...
My bff's son has taken to telling the
knock knock
whose there
Ach
Ach Who?
BLESS YOU!
joke.
Cracks me up
That's too cute. Jack and Annabelle both do their own versions of knock-knock jokes and it's pretty funny.
Jack told me a random joke the other day, Q:"How do you play with a porcupine? A:Very carefully" Hehe:)
