Any Indianapolis moms here?

I need Day care help.

Long story short, the lady that was going to watch our babe fell through...now I'm on the frantic hunt to find a day care.

    I grew up in Indy but moved away after college...I went to KinderCare as a kid and survived. I remember thinking it was pretty fun but I was more elementary-aged when I went there. I'm pretty sure I've still seen some around when in town visiting my parents. Wish I could help you more but I don't know anyone in town anymore with day-care-aged kids. Huh?

    I live in Indianapolis and have been researching daycare on the eastside. I guess I can't help with opions really, as I have never taken a child to daycare. I do know what my friends think of a couple, but I'm not sure what side of town you are looking at.

    When I was looking I went to https://secure.in.gov/apps/fssa/carefinder/index.html

    This list all the licensed daycares and you can look at all thier inspection reports.

     I have also looked at indymoms.com. There you can go under Buy & Sell and look under Buy (since you are looking to "buy" child care) and then under child care. This is like craigslist for daycares.

    Just realized I didn't go to KinderCare day care. I went to LaPetit Academy, lol. No clue if that's still around but it's near the 10th and Post area as well - my (old) neck of the woods! We got married at Post Road Christian Church right there... Smile
