Abdominal binder?

If you used one, how long did you use it? Did you wear it each day, all day long? I have a post partum support...is this the same? I am trying to wear it a little each day but I think it is so uncomfortable!

I wore this one after my c-section. I started wearing it on my 3rd day PP and wore it for two weeks. I wore it all day and night until the end of the 2nd week when I would take it off to sleep.

Sometimes it would pinch or fold and I'd have to readjust it but I really think it was worth it. It helped with the incision pain and I think it helped my stomach shrink back quickly. It's flatter now than it was pre-pregnancy.

Thanks for the info! This is my 3rd section and although my stomach has gone down pretty quickly I still have that 'flap' of skin at the bottom of my belly where I still have to lift it up (sounds so attractive) to see my incision. Plus my back is killing me where my abs are just shot. Hope wearing it now will help. I will try to keep the dang thing on! That's great your stomach is flatter than pre-preg! Woo hoo!

I wore one for about 2 weeks pp. I have always been thin and my stomach has been flat but after the baby I wanted to make sure it was flat again. The binder helped with the crampy feeling and the back pain and also had my stomach back pre-prego flat in less than a week. I kept wearing it because it helped with the pain, especially the pain I was feeling in my lower back.
