Hey ladies! DH and I did IVf in Jan and just found out we are having twins! I am  right at 6 weeks and have had some issues with spotting so thats why we did an ultrasound early. Both babies had cardiac activity and we could see their hearts flickering away but they could not get a good measurement because they said the babies are too small. They are both measuring about 2-3 days behind so hopefully we will be able to get a good measurement in a week. Is measuring behind with multiples normal? I am slightly confused but the doctors didnt seem alarmed.. Thanks for any help ladies!

Re: Measuring behind?
Congrats and welcome!
My first two ultrasounds, the babies were in fairly awkward positions to get good measurements...so they measured 3 days behind but the RE kept assuring me it was just their position. Sure enough, by my 10 week u/s, we could get good measurements and they're actually both measuring ahead now. So I wouldn't worry too much (easier said than done, I know)
Yup right from the start my twins measured a day or two behind, and they still are. My OB has never been concerned since they are growing appropriately at every appointment, they are just a couple days off from my EDD. I did IUI but I'm thinking maybe they implanted late or I actually ovulated a couple days after I thought I did from the trigger!
Congratulations by the way, and best of luck!
After 2 years, Injects, PCOS diagnosis and 2 IUI's, we were blessed with our beautiful twin girls!
Baby Girl #3!
Every ultrasound I had they were back and forth by few days.
Congrats!

April 5th, 2007-Isabella and Robert. We miss you. Born at 22 weeks, 2 days.
So far my girls have measured right on every time but I didn't have my first u/s until 13 weeks. If your doctor wasn't alarmed I wouldn't worry!
Congratulations and welcome!
My doctor has said that a few days either way isn't a big deal. Try not to stress!
