Anyone using the Baby Whisperer Method to get baby to sleep?

I have a 7 week old, and am trying to get him to sleep alone in a crib.  I've ordered the Baby Whisperer book to help.  Anyone use it?  When did you start?

Re: Anyone using the Baby Whisperer Method to get baby to sleep?

  • I used some of it, but some of it was unrealistic for our family/situation.  I really like the dream feeding, and the EASY method, but I am not very strict about the time everything happens.  We started at 8 weeks I think.

  • I did with ds. We started around 6-7 weeks.. We also went to formuula at this time. It was amazing. He went from sleeping in our room to sttn for 8 hours at 8 weeks, 10 by 10 weeks nd 12 at 12 weeks. Routine is key. He's still a pretty decent sleeper now, well usually. Having a 5 day old is making it interesting but you adjust when things change.

good luck. definately a good read and i plan on doing this with dd around 6 -7 weeks as well.

  • I just ordered it for the Kindle and started reading it so I'm interested to see all the responses to this.
