We're moving into our first house next weekend (whoo hoo!) The dining room is fairly small, and we're ready to ditch the big high chair anyway. It's a pain in the butt to clean.
We have a Seat Saver high chair that we're going to use on one of our chairs, but I'm wondering when we can just forgo the high chair and tray all together and just put him in a booster seat at the table with us. I think he's probably ready for that, or almost.
Is your toddler still in a high chair? If not, what is he/she in?
Re: Is your LO still in a high chair?
Zack has been in a booster seat since 12 months. I got real tired of what a pain it was to clean his highchair, and he liked being at the table better, anyway.
We just have the cheap-o Babies R Us booster, but it does the job and it's easy to clean.
We have this:

If DS wants to sit at the table, he can, and it takes up almost no space. Also great for travelling, it folds up and goes! We don't have to worry about the grossness of restaurant highchairs that don't even reach the table. He's always at table height!
We bought DS a booster chair last weekend. He seems to prefer it to the high chair (less of struggle strapping him in). The one we got is this: https://www.buybuybaby.com/product.asp?SKU=16571679&
Though we have not used the tray/toys... I think he's past that, overall.
