Betty Jane and Bubs (my pup)

I know there are a lot of animal lovers out there so I thought I'd post this. Betty Jane and Bubs have a very special relationship.

If anyone has issues with pitbulls, please know that I am an extremely responsible dog owner and I take every precaution when Bubs is around Betty Jane.

Adorable!

This makes me so sad that DD#2 never got to meet my rottie and saint since they both passed last year before she was born. I at least got some video of DD#1 playing with them. My favorite is her slapping her legs and calling them at 19 months old.

Ughhh...i can't get on FB from work. I'll have to see it later when I get home. As for the pitbull thing; personally, I don't think its not the breed. Pitbulls are known to be one of the friendliest dogs, that's if its not TRAINED to fight.

We have a pit mix.

I agree with you. Pitbulls (as well as other breeds) are dangerous when they don't have the right kind of owner. In fact, in England they are known as "Nanny Dogs" because, when trained, they are good with kids. Although Bubs is SO gentle with Betty Jane and we have trained him to know that Betty Jane is the Alpha, I never leave her in a room alone with the dogs. FYI - We have another pit/rottie mix named Lucy who just LOVES to give her kisses.

Bubs sure is a cutie, and what an awesomely tolerant boy he is! And as for breaking down breed stereotypes...your pittie is better with the baby than one of my labs is! Wink
