Third Trimester Chest Pain?

Has anyone else had severe chest pain in the last trimester? In this past two weeks I have had horrible pain right under my breasts - it sounds like gas pain but nothing works and the pain makes it so I can't stand, lay down, function - the docs are confused and I am worried. I have had EKG's and all that fun stuff and it's not my heart. I just want to know if I am the only person with this issue.

    I had something similar but it was more in the center, I had to go for a non-OB U/S. In the end, the only thing that helped was putting very cold (think frozen bottled water) on the spot. I had bottles in the freezer at work and woudl switch them out all day long. We think it was the pain of upper abs separating. Try the cold compress and if it doesn't work, try warm.

    So interesting that you posted this because I just had the same thing last night! I was having a lot of what felt like bad gas pains, but very high, right underneath my bra band. Then I got similar pains up around my collarbones, and it was worrying me, but eventually it passed. I'm assuming it's just gas that has nowhere to go?

    I had pretty severe chest pain on the right side only with both of my pregnancies.  It was right under my bra as well, and I found that pushing on that spot with my hands relieved the pain.  I don't know if it was just ribs expanding or what.  The pain tended to vary.  Sometimes it was achy, sometimes stabbing, and sometimes it felt like the entire area was on fire.

    Thank you so much for making me feel not alone anymore!  I have had this pain too for the last week and it is driving me crazy!  It my bra strap too big, it the underwire poking me, do I have indigestion?  I asked my doc and she thought, heartburn, but we all know this is a completely different feeling!  Knife stab anyone?  Of course I am sure Motrin would take away the pain but we can't have it!  Wink  Sadly I have not found a remedy for the pain, other than rubbing the spot.  Thankfully I work with all women!  Good luck!  I had severe pain in the abdomen area at 18 weeks....and was warned about the pain at 30 weeks.  Since I am 29 weeks I guess it is just starting early.  Hopefully that means it will end soon!
