Just not fair

Last two mornings, Tim has gotten up with Michael and Michael slept until nearly 7am.  This morning was my turn. Michael wakes up and starts cooing at 5:30am and crying at 5:45am.  Come on little boy. Let Mommy sleep too.  Sleep

  • How do they know?  I swear, no matter what time it is, Noah knows exactly when I go to bed at night and wakes up about 20 minutes later!!  It is like magic, LOL.

DH and I take turns sleeping in on the weekends and I swear they both sleep so much later on his days.  I comfort myself that they just can't wait to be with me.

  • This is soooo true in our house too.   BTW how is Michael?  Are his lungs clearing up?  How is he feeling?

thank you for asking.  He is doing great.  We are done with the second round of antibiotics and albuteral and (knock on wood) no wheezing or coughing.  We see the doctor on 2-28 for his Well Baby appointment and I hope it will be a Well Baby.

  • That sounds VERY familiar.  Though even on nights DH has the baby monitor, I'M still the one who wakes at every little squeak. DH could sleep through an explosion.

And I hope Michael's well visit is a well one.

I'm glad to hear that he's doing much better. I was thinking about you guys a lot. Good luck with the well baby appt.

  • Ok,  remember this so in 14 years on a Saturday morning you can wake Michael up at 5:30 am to have a Mom and Michael day.  Baahahahahahaha

  • True in my case, too (on weekends). Maybe H's are more relaxed with the kids and they feel it?
