postpartum checkup at 5.5 weeks- still bleeding

I have my post partum check at 5.5 weeks and as of right now, 4.5 weeks, I am still bleeding some. Its yellowish red at times and other times brown. Do you think I will still be cleared to work and exercise? These are two things I REALLY need to do!

I was still spotting at 6 weeks pp with my first 2 babies and my ob said everything looked fine! I was given the ok for light exercise then and was cleared to go back to work at 8 weeks PP (c-section).
