Anyone taking Prometrium suppositories? Do they make you drowsy? I just "took" my first one about an hour ago and now I can barely keep my eyes open. I am wondering what it will be like when I have to "take" one in the moring.

My temps are low too. It must be the Clomid.
My RE gave me the prescription for the prometrium when I got my Clomid and Ovidrel. After my IUI, he told me to use 2x a day for 14 days and if pregnant, to continue for 11 weeks. He did not test my progesterone.
What I didn't know is that Prometrium is actually a pill you take orally, but it can also be used as a suppository. My RE prefers the suppository as it gets into your system faster. I can't imagine swallowing it though.
I have always suspected that it is borderline low though since my temps usually rise after ovulation, but fall too quickly. Unlike this cycle where I can't even get them to go up much. Seriously, look at my chart, it's bizarre.
On another note, I slept great last night and did not want to get out of bed this morning.

I usuallyrise up into the low 98s during my LP. I am hoping I will experience the slow rise. Apparently it was enough for FF to detect ovulation. And I KNOW I ovulated. Not only did I get the trigger shot, but I felt ovulation this month.
Who knows. I am going to go Dr. Google the effect of Clomid on LP temps.
A note on Fertility Plus - not that this helps much:

A: In a word, no . . . but that doesn't mean they don't tell you something. Clomid often causes elevated BBTs around the time of taking the medication, and it appears to be more common to have a triphasic BBT on medications without pregnancy. It is also more common to have a long luteal phase without pregnancy. Other monitoring is more reliable when on medication.
I'm taking Prometrium vaginally as well. After my first experience with it I asked my GYN if it was normal for me to be so utterly exhausted all the time. The brief answer is, "yes". Completely normal. This was my body's reaction to an early PG hormone. At one point, though, I was actually justifying to myself that it would be perfectly alright if I crawled underneath my desk at work for a nap - ala George Costanza. I'm not joking.
I didn't notice any symptoms for a few days, though.
I'm taking it for the 2nd time right now and find that now that I am aware of the symptoms, they affect me a lot less. How long have you been on it?
I have the most restful sleep and waaay bizarre dreams. Anyone else?

I am just now on day 2, dose 3. This morning was fine. I could feel the symptoms creep in a bit, but after breakfast at my desk I was fine.
When I think about how the HCG trigger is still in my system and now the progesterone, I am wondering if this is how early pregnany will feel. I hope so because I think I can survive this. If not, I am screwed.
Thankfully the cleaning crew vacuumed my office today.
I'm on day 7 (my second go around) 3x per day suppositories. This beats crinone any day! I sometimes get very dizzy and the first few days I was extremely sleepy but now I am only getting 3 - 4 hrs a sleep per night : / I thought this was due to my evening naps, when I crawl out of the car and drag my feet to the couch and wake up from a coma 1.5 hrs later. Crazy, deep dreams are a norm. I think I am awake all night now because I have crazy, stressful s***t going on at work. Of course, it's the 2ww. My clients wait until now ALWAYS to dump huge, high pressure dilemmas on me usually during the 2ww.
Anyway, I have hormone fog and it's 6am : ( I hope you feel better. But the George Castanza (LOL!) ref is totally true. You will be looking for a little place to take a nap. GL!
