Wednesday's Jillian check-in

Happy Wednesday!  I'll start today's check-in.

I'm shredding - day 3 level 1.  I can barely walk and my calves are on fire.  I love that I can feel myself getting stronger, but I could do without the limping.  Please tell me that the soreness gets better!

  • Yes, the soreness does get better, I promise.  Just try to push through and it will be easier each day!! 

     I missed shredding yesterday because of a nasty head cold and am not feeling too great today but I'm going to try and get it done at some point today.  I'm on L2 now...not really sure what day because I missed last week but I'm going to start over on L2 and work my way back up to where I was before I missed.

  • Well I haven't officially started yet. I bought the DVD and the weights, and then got the flu. Sad But I'm on my way!

  • Smart OP - I like the title. 

    I did day 2 of the 6w6p.  I'm doing this every other day so it is not as mentally challenging as doing the shred everyday.  My back muscles are sore.  I've never had that feeling before.  I like it though.

  • 30 DS, day 10, level 2. I am so tired by the end of it. Good times.

  • I finally did day 4 of level 1 this morning!

    Yesterday was a break.. not happy about it but my thighs needed it. I did get in a great power walk on my lunch yesterday so I am happy I did something instead of nothing.

    Only problem.. I can NOT do pushups to save my life! I can do 3 modifited but they hurt so bad & I feel like my posture is all wrong.

  • I just started Shred yesterday and holy crap!  I thought I was in good shape (I am 2/3 done with Couch 2 5K) but wow!  My quads and shoulders are killing me!  I LOVE it!  I am going to repeat L1 this afternoon.
