1.5 week old bm's

My little one started out in the hospital having the normal bowel movements of newborns and then progressed to 1-2 per day. The past 2 days he had no bowel movement, and this morning had a very small and fairly firm bm.  Is this just his body getting adjusted, or could this be a sign of constipation?  He's formula fed.

    I would think its the formula. If he doesnt have one after three days and if it continues to be so spread apart I would consider switching to a more sensitive formula. My SILs LO was pooping every three days so they switched her to gerber gentle plus and it helped her. She started going once a day to once every other day. GL

    Every baby is different. Sometimes it's normal to go 1-2ays between bm's. Does your LO seem uncomfortable or struggle to go? Before you switch formula call your pedi & see what they recommend. Switching formula on a whim can sometimes do more harm than good. Good luck!
