DH is an independent consultant in construction. So when he's the GC for a job, they pay him with their company checks, but he obviously doesn't get W2's from them. What do we do? He's gonna call our tax person tomorrow, but I was just wondering if anyone knew. Thanks!
Re: Any CPA, tax attorneys...or anyone know taxes?
This. His income is subject to self employment tax and will need to obtain a 1099 and file a schedule C.
