Need your help deciding-bedding

I am literally torn in two trying to decide between these two bedding sets and DH is no help. He just keeps telling me to pick one and get it over with Huh? So your opinions and thoughts would be greatly appreciated! TIA!

Option 1: Aviator bedding set. 13 pieces including bumper, sheet, skirt, 3 wall hangers, 2 pillows, toy holder, diaper stacker, 2 valances, comforter. I know that I can't use the bumper and comforter in the crib but I love all of the extras in this package and for about $100, the price is right.

Option 2: Fun, bright circles set. I love the colors and think it'd be really easy to match other items to this set. I also like that I could use this set again if baby number two is a girl. More gender neutral and about the same price with the standard sheet, bumper, skirt, and comforter

  • I like #2 because I'm a fan of the bright colors.  I think you could definitely find gender specific accessories to coordinate in any theme that you like.  If you want to go with aviator pictures and accessories, I think you could find some that coordinate in the bright colors.

  • I really like option 1 but I am not a big bright colour person, I also think the airplanes will grow with him

  • #2 is super cute!

  • Another vote for option 2:)
  • I like them both, but think I lean toward the bright circles.  However, you should know my hubbby saw these and picked the aviator set.  He said "how can you go wrong with planes?"

Just a thought though...have you seen either in person? The reason I ask is because I ordered a set unseen, and I didn't like it in person.  The quality just wasn't there.  And at 13 pieces for only $100, I worry the same will happen to you on the aviator set.

Unfortunately I haven't seen either in person. I live in the middle of nowhere and the nearest city is 2+hours away and the plane set isn't sold in stores either :(   I also thought that the price was too good to be true for the aviator set but all of the reviews are pretty stellar. But who knows if those are truthful or what those individuals standards are. I think I'm also leaning more toward option 2 now. The colors are just awesome and I think the quality would be better. It's also a little less "themey" (please don't mind my made-up words, haha) so I think I'd have more options. I found a really cute giraffe wall decal on Etsy that would look awesome. Thanks so much ladies! :)

  • I like the second one better as well.
  • I like the colors in the aviator set but I'm always hesitant to go with something too "themey" as you put it lol...I actually ordered parts of two different sets; a blankie, the valance, mobile and diaper changer cover thingy (see I make up words too lol) from one and the fitted sheet and bed skirt from another...they had similar colors and coordinated well together...any way to order just some of the set or do you have to get all the pieces?

That being said, I think you're right about set number 2 being easy to add to and I love the fitted sheet and bed skirt on that one
