I am having a heck of a time deciding whether my daughter should or shouldn't have bangs. Right now, her hair is 'no bangs' (since I hated mine growing up), but that means she has to have a little sprout on top of her head every day, and I'm not sure if I like that either (bald forehead and sprout). We're totally in that weird transition phase with her hair. It's still baby fine, long on top but short in the back.....
Any suggestions!?!

Re: For those of us with DDs - Bangs or no bangs??!
P.S. here is how she rolls:
Usually it all makes it into the clip but as you can see, the cupcake means end of the day and it was falling out

This. The back is all curls and I have curly hair so we'll see. I can't wait for pigtail ringlets that I had as a little.
Same here. We just started pigtails too...
This. I've gone back and forth on the issue, but DH is totally against bangs. I think he just doesn't want to trim them, since DD would not sit still for that. We also do the "sprout", since she usually pulls out her hair clips. I'm hoping that's just a phase, though.
I'm very anti-bangs, especially do-it-yourself bangs or the straight across cut that includes half of the kid's head. Mine were hideous as a kid and I just don't like them.
I do think that the in-between stage of hair growth is a pain without bangs, but my baby's hair stylist (yes, she has a stylist! lol) said that it's even more of a pain with them because of having to keep up with cutting them. Allie has a ton of hair (super thick like mine) and we used to do the sprout, now I just put it half up, like this:
It almost looks like she has very light bangs because some of the hair in front is growing out.
