Looking for gift ideas

I am going to a birthday party for a two year old boy, but I have no clue what to get him. Are there certain things your LOs are really into? I'm at a loss, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

    I would ask mom if there is anything he's interested in or needs.  Other ideas would be anything related to art, music or learning toys.  For example, coloring books/round crayons, keyboard/maracas and leap frog toys.  Interactive books are always a fave for my DD.

    My son is going to be two and LOVES Thomas and Friend trains, Dinosaur Train.  He also loves puzzles, books and musical instruments.
