It has now escalated to needing an attorney! H's cousin is a lawyer so I am going to call her in the morning but I need some advice! This has been going on for 7 months and as of right now the stone is still not correct. The contract I have specifically states that it's supposed to be installed within 8 weeks of payment which was made in July or Early august, I don't have it in front of me right now. Anyway I made the owner meet me at the cemetery on Thursday to show him that the bear on the headstone wasn't secure and with the push from ONE FINGER I was able to push the thing over. He tried to convince me multiple times that I am stupid but i wasn't backing down. He sent me a text message today saying it was now fixed. The only reason he did that is because i was PROMISED on Thursday by his installer that it would be corrected by Saturday morning and when I went Sunday and saw it still wasn't fixed I sent him a message asking him why. I'm at a loss! I know that if they did in fact go today we are going to have issues with it holding up because he himself told me multiple times it had to be fixed when dry and warm, neither of which it is today! I'm beside myself! I am so mad!!! I want to hire an attorney and make them come take their piece of crap back and give me a full refund as well as pay the difference it's going to cost me to buy the same thing elsewhere. Is this possible? Is it reasonable? Honestly if I showed you the chain of text msgs. You would see how this guy contradicts himself over and over and leads me on for days and even months that something will be done. The actual stone itself isn't even correct but it was close enough that I was willing to live with it because I am so tired of dealing with him. Now I want it all corrected! What would you do?

Good God April, I am so pissed off for you. That's completely out of line and unacceptable. I don't have words strong enough for what you have been through with these people.
I hope you get some good advice here. You need to be made whole and you need closure.

You can print out the text messages if you have them saved, so you can keep records of his responses to you. Usually you just go into your service provider's "store" and they can handle it for you.

Just thought I'd save you a google search. My MIL was on not too long ago, and they got her problem fixed. I can't believe they have dragged it on for this long. Did you pay with a credit card? There may be a way to get your money back through that.
