Ok, prounced My-Ka. Is it true that the micah is the spelling for a boy and the myka is the spelling for a girl? I've only seen it spelled this way and I am wondering if it is "legit".
If the house ain't burned down and the baby's fed it was a successful day.

Myka is a made up variant. Some how people believe that adding the Y girlies a name up. Micah is and always will be the correct spelling.
Suggestion: Micaiah (pronounced Mi-kye-ah) is an actual female variant of the name Micah.

Mica is the feminine spelling.
And frankly, this name is awful for a girl, despite the fact that it does have a feminine spelling.
Oh, FFS. There are 5 bajillion nice names for girls. Why must you poach yet another from the boys?
If you use this name for a girl (and you shouldn't), spell it Mica, like the shiny rock. Micah is a man's name and Myka is a disaster.
