 I have been feeling my little one pretty much everyday for the past 2.5 weeks. Yesterday I hardly felt him and this morning the same thus far. I'm semi freaking out. Anyone feeling steady movement pretty much everyday and then one day feeling nothing?

    I haven't had a day where I have felt nothing, but this little guy is seriously crazy. I am actually going to ask the doctor at my next appointment if there is a such thing as to much movement. He never stops. So I have had days where he is just not as active and I get freaked out by it. I would keep an eye on the movement today and tomorrow. If you're still concerned tomorrow give your doc a call.

    Yes!  I just replied to a similar post yesterday!  Baby was kicking a lot on Saturday, then NOTHING on Sunday and Monday.  Yesterday, movement.  Then last night (usually an active time), nothing.  Today (so far), nothing.  It's ok.  They are just establishing their sleep/wake patterns!  I am due at the end of June so baby's kicks aren't too strong yet.  I may have slept through movement all night!

    It's normal to not feel the baby consistently until you are farther along. And you don't really have to start tracking the movements until your third trimester. But I understand that it gets a little scary when you don't feel your LO as much as you'd like to! But I wouldn't be worried about it.

    I called my doctor about this very question last Friday...they said they don't worry about consistent movement until 24 weeks... she said the baby might have changed positions so it could be kicking toward your back and you don't feel it... I was the same as you -- worried -- but they really reassured me when I called the doctor. Try not to stress!

    I just posted something similar to this yesterday.  I was freaking out because I had not felt her for 2 days... Well, last night I was up super late.. and it turns out she was partying it up... So I'm thinking maybe that's what has been going on.  She seemed to be on a sched because she was always moving at around 9pm...but I guess she is changing her mind on when to be up :)  Don't worry too much!- Easier said than done right? :)

    I read somewhere that you don't actually have to track their movement and keep consistent tabs on it until 28 weeks - until then a lot of variablity is supposedly normal.
