Melt down at the Waffle House

I totally lost it tonight at the waffle house all over some pickles.  I have been craving a patty melt from there for days now and finally talked DH into going for dinner.  The one thing I asked was for no pickles on the plate. I didn't like them before pregnancy and since BFP the smell and taste makes me sick.  I told the waitress 3 times to not put them on them on the plate, so what did she do she put them on the sandwich!  I was so mad so DH asked her to get it recooked and when he told her I couldn't take the smell or taste because I was PG she goes well if she gets sick she can just stay here til she's done. Angry  I was so mad I just started crying.  Stupid hormones, at least the cook was cool and got me a new sandwich with no pickles.  I am ready to have the old me back that would have b!tch slapped the lady for her stupid comment and not just started crying and having DH take up for me,

  •   How weird.  People say strange things.  The owner in a shop I get a sandwich at about once a month always asks if I am having a boy or a girl- then makes a comment about how i shouldn't be dissapointed when I tell her it is a boy (she has all girls).  I just think- really??  Last time she said "Oh a boy (sad face) well all that REALLY matters is that it is healthy."

Hmmm... Perhaps she has some man issues.  That's weird to be that particular!

  •   Even if SHE is that particual,r how could she be so dense as to not realize that other people are not?  I mean some people want a little boy.  I love being a boy momma- if I were having a girl I would be equally excited but it certainly was no dissapointment even if I had three boys I would be cool with it.  The only thing I was sad about missing is buying a prom dress and my BFF said I can take her little girl when she is old enough- problem solved.

  • It irritates me when people assume that all women want girls and all men want boys. My sister really wanted a boy. I wanted a girl myself, but not everyone does.
