For some odd reason, I'm always interested to hear in what other people are dealing with - as far as the food/eating thing. It can be such a chore sometimes, or so easy other times.
I have attempted several times, for the sake of getting some protein, to eat ANY type of meat. I have failed. I can't go near the stuff without getting my gag reflex going.
What food is making you gag this week, last week... or today? Me: ANY & ALL meat.
What is your go-to food? Me: Chips, Fruit (oranges, berries, apples) & dairy products (yogurt, ice cream, cottage cheese)
Re: Foods you hate...and love...
My once-well-developed palate has reverted back to that of a five year old. Mac & cheese, pizza, chips, milk, chocolate milk, grilled cheese, cupcakes, bagels.
I love my morning coffee, and can't do it anymore. Meat I can handle in small portions but nothing like a big chicken breast in front of me (gag). I have odd cravings for salads at times and then other times it sounds awful.
Well put about the 5-yr. old diet! I forgot to mention the mac 'n cheese and cupcake thing. Same here. I basically can't have anything with flavor (which I normally LOVE eating/trying different spices/flavors/worldly foods).
Foods I hate: ALL OF THEM!!! LOL. I'm forcing myself to eat at every meal
Foods I love: ....what ever strikes me at the moment, this morning I had ground beef tacos for breakfast...even my best friend chocolate makes me feel pukey.
I love beef however my little nugget does not want me to eat any hamburger at all!
like PP I don't really want anything to eat so I eat whatever I feel like at that moment. Made a whole package of mac and cheese the other day, took one bite and didnt want it anymore...really weird stuff going on over here!
baby hates all food
I can drink tea and that is about it, I force feed myself a little and feel really bad when I do but basically baby hates me. I'm totally going to lose weight this trimester with this aversion to food, makes me happy that I have a few extra pounds to lose during this time of no food.
Mine are day to day but cheeseburgers, lasagna and popcorn have been consistent must haves. So, you know, I'm clearly enjoying health food.
It looks like I just took my daily peanut butter sandwich off of the list.
Burned by the Bear
hating salad (I was a salad everyday for lunch girl)
and popcorn... I made popcorn on Saturday, ate maybe 4 pieces and pushed it aside. DH came home from work and decided he'd eat it for lunches so put it in a big zip-lock baggie... I had to move the baggie of popcorn into his office b/c the smell of it THROUGH the baggie was making me nauseous every time I went into the kitchen!
loving potatoes in any form and drinking tons of raspberry ginger-ale
I am a salt addict. I love chips, fries, egg whites with salt and crackers.
This might seem odd but as long as I am full I am not sick. The moment I drop below full I get M/S again.
Time for my bread.
M
The Good: Campari tomatoes from Sam's. It can't be local grocery store kind...you know...because there is totally a difference! I am loving baked potatoes and tater babies with oodles of ketchup.
The Bad: I am craving ice cold milk but the minute I drink it, I get so sick!
The Ugly: The smell of BBQ and garlic makes my stomach roll. The thought of anything Cajun sets me off. The very idea of driving by this crazy taco stand a block from my office doesn't do good things for me either!
Aversions - All meat except chicken. Eggs too, and bacon is particularly gross right now! Also (and this kills me) all forms of chocolate. I can't even swallow it without my stomach doing flip flops.
Cravings - Skittles (except I'll only eat a few at once and then I'm DONE) all dairy but especially yogurt, veggies and dip, bread products.
