Hi Ladies
DD is 6 weeks and has been a GREAT feeder since she was born. Last week she was having alot of problems latching and getting enough to eat. I initally thought it was my supply but turns out we had thrush and it hurt her to BF.
We are working on getting the thrush resolved but I am now finding that my supply is low (I think) She gets very frustrated and unlatchs multiple times in a feeding which is very unlikely of her.
We have had a bit of dehydration as well so the pedi suggested to supplement after feeding if still hungry as didnt think she was getting enough from me so we have been doing that
I have continued to pump after she feeds while DH gives a bottle in hopes to tell my body to produce more but am barely getting an ounce (combined between the breasts)
How can I produce more?
Re: How to increase supply
nurse or pump more often, pump for 10 min after last drop stops, compressions while pumping-see link, high fier diet
