Eye Color

At what point did you know what color your DC's eyes were going to be? Ashlyn's are still that blue/grey. I know it can take awhile, but I wondered when most of you saw a change.

I think most references will say that if eye color hasn't changed by the time DC is 6 months old, it is probably the color they will be. Justin's eyes are blue and now that he is 15 months, I think he's gonna be that way for life!

Nora's eyes had a blue/grey tint until she was about 10 months old. Now they are as brown as can be.

I think they start around 6 months and reach their "true color" sometime around their first birthday.

Funny story about my DS: One eye started to turn brown when he was probably 6 months or so and the other was still blue... we kept waiting and waiting for the other one to turn brown and it just never did (despite the fact that our ped kep telling us it would). He's 4 now and the one never did change - he just has 1 brown and 1 blue eye... it's the funniest thing!

Maggie's look different every day, but they're most likely going to be brown according to the pedi.

I think DD got her daddy's eyes. They seem to go from being really, really blue, to being greenish. Just like DH's. We'll see though. Still got some time.

I don't have a baby yet, but I had two different color eyes until I was about 10 yrs old (one blue, one brown). ?Now they aren't as noticeable but I still have two different colors and they change colors. I hope my baby gets my eyes!

We still can't tell what color DD's will be. I am betting they will be dark brown like mine, but some days they look more greenish like DH's.
