beta level good, but not doubling :/

My doctor talked me into getting betas drawn last Friday and Sunday. I (finally) got them back today: 2198 on Friday (23 dpo), 2815 on Sunday (25 dpo), almost exactly 48 hours apart.

She'd like me to come in for an u/s or possibly do another draw.

Any extra doubling dust out there?

I think I'm going to be sick - and not in the oh yay, I have m/s way.

Wait, I'm confused.

At that high number, they shouldn't double. They should just increase. Once they're over 1200 (I think) they slow markedly.

I thought that didn't happen until later, like many thousands. I hope you're right!

The nurse did say that they would have liked to see second number higher.

I know it slows down some, but I was thinking it was more like 6,000+ when doubling slowed.

No, the doubling slows way before 6,000. That chart PP posted is great, it's the one my RE gave me when we were doing betas.

I hope the next draw shows a great increase.

I'm really hoping its just that your numbers are so dang high thats the issue. Either way, definitely some rising dust and I'll send along my u/s dust from today.
