Hello all,
I have just started temping this cycle. I already knew I had a lower than average body temperature (I'm usually at 97.6-97.8 F when healthy and active in the daytime). So far (CD 11), I appear to be consistently in the 97.07 - 97.25 F range in the morning. Is this in the range of normal/healthy?
As a side note, I usually feel warm. I battle with my husband to keep the house at 65 F (he wants it at 70 and we compromise at 68 when we're both home during the day).
Given my low temperature, how big a jump should I expect to see to chart ovulation?
Re: What is a normal/low BBT?
Those are higher than my pre-O temps! My temps are typically around the mid 96's pre-O.
HTH!
Baby Macy is here!
12/09 - Macy (daughter) | 4/10 - Began TTC Baby #2 | 12/10 - Chemical Pregnancy | 1/12 - Miscarriage at 14 weeks | DX - PCOS & Hyperthyroidism
My normal, regular temperatue is around 97.2-97.5, my BBT temps range from 96 ish- 98, so I think we're both fine
From what I've read, O typically is registered when you have a temp rise of 0.4+ and stays up for 3 days. I'm still learning so don't quote me, good luck!

I am much colder than you. You can check out my chart for last month's cycle to see how high mine went after O. This months chart is a mess so it will not help you. I think that FF also has charts that you can compare to your chart. That might help.
