So i have a quick question just out of curiosity how many days after you lost your mucus plug did you go into labor??

I know everyone is different but i just want to figure out the average.

Neither did I! They broke my water in the hospital to help my labor progress (it didn't work), and my MP came out with it.

I lost mine about 1 minute before my water broke.

Lost mine on thursday and I went to be induced friday but when I got to the hospital that night I was having contractions on my own and dilating on my own, so it probably would have been that night or the next.

Oh and we had sex the night before I lost my MP, it may or may not have helped. I was also 39 weeks.

I lost mine about the day before I went into labor. Also, I had NO idea I would be in labor four hours before I was checked in, so even if you feel great, don't be discouraged!

Edited: Because I remembered my timing and realized I lost my MP waaay closer to labor than I thought!

I lost mine over a 3 week period in pieces. When I started having real time-able contractions that were 5-1-1 I went to the bathroom and lost a huge glob.

Mine fell out after an internal while I was already admitted in the hospital for induction, it was 38 weeks.

I lost mine in one big chunk the day before I started having contractions and two days before I was admitted. I don't think theres an average though... and I did have whoopie the next before and the next night lol
