Sorry! Does the baby still have a nub at 15 weeks or has it development into a penis/vagina? I am supposed to go in for an ultrasound and wondering how they could tell if there is still a nub there. I guess it's possible- I have seen some ladies on here find out early.
I found out at 13 weeks with both pregnancy's and mine were ALL BOY ! so from my experience I never saw a nub I saw penis and it didn't change.
Everyone I know usually finds out the gender at the latest 16 weeks (electively) so I think you should be good.
So if there is something there, it should be the penis? I went last week, bc this place advertised gender selection at 14, but she seemed kinda inexperienced. There was something between the legs and she said it wasn't the cors bc there wasn't blood in it (she hit a button to change colors). Anyway, since they couldn't determine they invited me back in this week. I am not sure if I should even bother since she seemed inexperienced (disappointing after I paid $). I have an appointment with my real doc in 10 days anyway. What do you guys think? Should I go in for fun or not even psych myself up? Thanks!

Oh, I'm almost positive it's developed it's "parts" by 15 weeks. A friend of mine who was high risk found out at 10 weeks what she was having.
we were told boy at 12wk4d u/s, went back at 15wk for elective at 4d place. he is indeed a boy. plenty of people find out (accurately) before 19/20 weeks. some people seem to be really hung up on not finding out until 20wks tho. i'd go back.
We found out we were having a GIRL at 14w2d. Doc said he was 80% sure and at 17w he confirmed It's a GIRL!
While you can find out early it's not always 100%, so I wouldn't start buying anything pink or blue. If you do get a shot of his/her nub and your doc didn't advise of the gender, you can post your nub ultrasound on the forums at igender.com. There are ultrasound techs over there that may give you their guess at which gender.

I was told girl at 14 weeks (confirmed at 16 and 20) and the was nothing between the legs at all. Sometimes though, girls can appear to have a bit of a nub if the clitoris is really swollen but by 15 weeks it should be fine. For girls, you want to see 3 lines or parallel dots between the legs and boys you dont just see something sticking out, you should see the scrotum and penis. Boys should be pretty obvious by 15 weeks. I'd go for fun and then your doctor can confirm it at your next appointment.

I was told yesterday at 12 week 6 days that she was 80% confident it was a boy I am hoping and praying she is right...because today I just couldn't help it and buy some boy clothes! Just 2 onesies..nothing crazy hehe

No. Some people just have patience. Like I have stated before, I don't believe all the blue, pink or purple crap is going to be bought out by the time I go in for an a/s.
What do you think people did before u/s became so common place and in my opinion, misused? Waited the whole 9 months. Shocking.
Ahhh sorry about that! I had just found out the sex of my baby and was doing some googling. I guess I let the excitement get the best of me and failed to look at the date.

Oops I meant gender determination!

At 13 weeks, males and females look very similar. The angle is what determines if it's a penis or a vagina:

Girls are parallel
The problem is some boys are not this obvious and may only be a tiny bit angled.
At 15-16 weeks they should be able to give you a much more accurate determination but I wouldn't go out and buy anything until your anatomy scan
