I know each couple is different, and each doctor is different, just trying to get a feel for things.
1) Are/have you done injectibles?
2) How many cycles did/will you do of them?
3) Does your dr limit how many cycles of injectibles and if so, how many?

Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.
1. Yes
2. We did two cycles. The first I overstimulated thanks to my PCOS. The second one we did Femara + injectibles to control the number of follies and IUI which resulted in my pregnancy
3. We were going to do 3 cycles of injectibles with IUI before moving on to IVF
1) Are/have you done injectibles? Yes. This past cycle, which was IVF.
2) How many cycles did/will you do of them? Being as we spent $7k for meds on this cycle alone, I think this is it.
3) Does your dr limit how many cycles of injectibles and if so, how many? I do not know. It's never come up since we busted out the big guns right from the get-go.
12 long, hard years of TTC-
Miscarriages, losses, lots of treatments & drugs & IVF
Natural BFP (WTF?!) - 06/04/11 ~ lots of complication and drama, but sweet baby Adele born 02/07/12!
BFP #million -another girl for us! EDD - 05-08-15 (but will come early)
1) Are/have you done injectibles? Yes
2) How many cycles did/will you do of them? We did 2 cycles before moving onto IVF.
3) Does your dr limit how many cycles of injectibles and if so, how many? My RE recommeded 3 cycles before moving onto IVF. He said if it's going to work, it will usually work within the first 3 cycles.1) Are/have you done injectibles? Yes
2) How many cycles did/will you do of them? I only did one cycle with TI (my choice I could have had an IUI, but wanted to save my insurance money) and then we moved onto IVF.
3) Does your dr limit how many cycles of injectibles and if so, how many? My dr. wanted us to go to IVF when I had my 3rd loss (got pregnant from my 2nd unmedicated IUI). I wanted to try one cycle of injectables to see how I responded to them. I was also nervous to go right to IVF. I made 3 follies, but no luck. If the RE wasn't sure she wanted me to move onto IVF, I think that she would let me have done 3-4 cycles.
I have no regrets about trying injects - I couldn't start to cycle for IVF over the holidays (per RE's cycle dates) I think it was good to see how I responded so my RE had a starting place for IVF.
1) Are/have you done injectibles? Yes
2) How many cycles did/will you do of them? We did 3 cycles of injectables with IUIs.
3) Does your dr limit how many cycles of injectibles and if so, how many? The doctor didn't limit us but we were ready to move forward and our insurance let us move forward after 3.

1) Are/have you done injectibles? Yes
2) How many cycles did/will you do of them? We did 3 cycles of injectables with IUIs (plus the IVF).
3) Does your dr limit how many cycles of injectibles and if so, how many? I did this with my first RE and her thinking was that if something was going to work, then it would work within 3 cycles. So we did 3 Clomid+IUI and then 3 Follistim+IUI. I think she probably would have let me try another time or two since my insurance didn't cover IVF, but I switched RE's after that.
3) Does your dr limit how many cycles of injectibles and if so, how many? My doctor suggested 3 IUI's before moving onto IVF.
1) No
2) We'll do 3 if we get there
3) I think they limit it to 3
