We are having a hard time figuring out a boys name for DS2. Here is a short list of a few top choices. Whcih one do you guys like best:
Hayden
Foster - family name.... its my maiden name and thought it will be a nice way to keep the name in the family since my only brothers has all girls
Thatcher
Re: What do you think? Boys Names
I'd vote for Foster for the family tie.
I'd also vote to strike Hayden from the list entirely.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

Not a Hayden fan just because so many people are using it for girls now.
Thatcher is my maiden name :-)
Foster I really like!
I like Foster the best. And as I have a maiden name that is actually a somewhat popular boys name, I like the idea of passing it down. Mine is my DS's middle name.
I agree- Hayden is a girls name.
~Benjamin Franklin
DS dx with celiac disease 5/28/10
I agree w/ pp ? Hayden is going girl.
I vote for Foster because of the family connection. That's a great way to honor your family.
I have a friend named Thatcher, but it's his mom's maiden name. It's a perfectly good name, but I think that the connection is better than the name itself. I think it would be weird to use it if it were not a family name.
Baby Name Popularity by State
Carter Robert 7.18.08 | Brynn Sophia 5.24.10 | Reid Joseph 9.10.12 | Emerson Mae 1.27.14
I like Foster as a middle name.
I don't care for Thatcher at all.
The only Hayden I know is a girl. I think it has been used more for girls since Hayden Panettiere gained popularity.
This.
Foster is my favorite & I like the family tie. (We are giving our baby my maiden name as a middle name for the exact same reason.)
Hayden: I don't agree with those who say it's a girls name; I think it's unisex. But, unfortunately I associate it with a kid who is a monster (even his parents nicknamed him Satan).
Thatcher is pretty nice, but I still dig Foster a little more.
totally agree
Hayden is nms, but it is the only one that sounds like a fn. I'd use Foster as a mn and find a different fn option.
Thatcher is a practically obsolete occupation name.
